If the sea had a voice

Hi, bloggers this week in reading, we have been doing some reading and investigating around the sea. After we read and investigated we had to start to create.  I created a google animation showing a fisherman fishing and dropping plastic, in the water and a fish eating it and getting sick. Then a person fishing catch the fish and cooks it ,then eats the fish and doesn't realise that the fish, was sick and had plastic in it . I also used google search to help me find png pictures for charterers and heaps more it was really useful. I also used gradient background custom to customise my own background colours. I used a dark blue  and a blue and a green for two of my background colours. My slide is about people making sea creatures sick then you get sick. Maybe next time I could add more slide about what happens when he gets better .  Blog you later  \

Describe a setting

T his week we are working on using descriptive language by sharing our writing straight onto our blog.  The challenge we have is to describe a place using only six sentences. After reading the description you need to guess the place that has been described. It would really help if you say what clues helped you come to this conclusion.  You have to travel considerably far They have a chocolate factory called bamboo They can sometimes have black sand   They also have a volcano called augng   They have the most expensive  coffee  Its a beautiful island

Sea week synthesis

Hi, bloggers this week was sea week. In reading we had to create a poster on how we can save sea and our animals that live in the sea.  For our first activity we had to fill in what we already know about the sea. Then we had to fill in new ideas  that we found out about the sea. Last we had to synthesise what Toiora Te moana, Toiora Te tangata which translated in English mean, healthy seas, healthy people.  last but not least we had to create a poster  showing what sea week is all about and what  Toiora Te moana, Toiora Te tangata means in English. We also had to add some facts about what we found out. blog you later  Here is a link that will take you to the website that you can find information on sea animals Click here
