HI, bloggers. Today the senior syndicate from Waikowhai Primary School did an amazing race were we had to get a clue and try find a card with a letter. At the start we had to get the instruction explained to us so we know what to do. Next we had to get into our groups of four. Then the trouble started. We got our first clue which was, on a tree is the letter B find it and write the message you see. Then quickly and quietly return it to me. After we found all the clues we had to combined it into two sentences. The two sentences where, Go for gold new Zealand. How many gold medals do you think new Zealand, will get at the Gold Coast Common Wealth Games this year. The winners of the Waikowhai Senior Amazing Race was, Amaya, Me, Conrad and Skye. 1 learnt that we had to keep going and have resilience.  Blog you Next term.

Hi, bloggers this week in reading we have been learning about insects. We read a book called Incredible Insects. The book told us all about were insects live and the four  things they need to stay alive. The four  things they need to stay alive with is Air  Water Food Shelter After we read the book we had to do a follow-up activity. For the activity we had to explain where they live and what they eat and also what they use to camouflage. After explaining where they live and other things about that insect we had to fill in true or false questions. Next, we had to describe an insect that nobody will be able to answer.  Lastly, we had to describe an insect, about where  it lives and what it eats.  Can you Guess my insect?  Blog you next term.  

Hi, bloggers over the long Easter weekend me and my family , went down to Hamilton and stayed at a really nice hotel. The hotel was called The Hamilton V.R. We stayed in Hamilton for 1 night then come back to Auckland to spend some time with my dad's family.  In Hamilton, I found out that it is really bad to stay on my tablet for more than 2 hours.   On Easter Monday me and my cousins had a Easter egg hunt. It was really fun because it was the last time I got to see my cousin Paige and Lenyhax.  Everyone in the Easter egg hunt was really crazy, there were people getting knocked over .  After all of that fun we all had to go back to school noooooo!
