Hi, bloggers on monday we had wheels day. On wheels day we had to rotate between three stations. One of the stations were the slip'n'slide and the pool. The second station was games and relaxing station , under the tree's were we got to play games like chess and  heaps more. The lucky last station was when we got to ride our wheels on the senior and middle school court. We also got to continue playing games under the tree's. Also we got to wear mufti. We had to bring a gold coin donation to fundraise for the junior school playground. The water part of the day was my favorite because we got, to go swimming and down the slip'n'slide. My least favorite part of the day was the games because we had to stay in the sun for  long but the day was still fun. Blog you later

Hi,bloggers this week we have been working on our waikowhai primary school celebration day thinking hats.  At our celebration day we had heaps of things to do we ,had  Cultural performances , Student stalls, entertainment, games  and heaps more. At the celebration day we had heaps of people come from our community. We also had  michael wood come to our celebration day. In our celebration day thinking that we had to explain our experience on the, we had to explain different things like how we were felling, information about the day.What I found hard about the day was when we had to stand up on the stage and performances. Hi,bloggers today we did an activity about where we wanted to go. In my activity I wanted to go to the United Arab Emirates because it had very interesting facts about what you can do there. The second reason why I wanted to go to United Arab Emirates is because the have really, really, really fun kinds of sports like soccer,tennis and even cycling. Maybe in the future I  would actually visit the United Arab Emirates. Blog you later😂😂😂😂😂

Hi, bloggers for the past 2 terms , we have been working on creating posters and soap. During the process of making soap we were also making posters. We had to make different sizes of poster. After choosing our size of paper we had to start sketching up ideas of how we are , going to plan our design. Then we had to outline the ideas with permanent marker, after we had to pick some pastels to start coloring in our poster. Finally we had finished our posters and now it was time to start making more soap YAH! . We used different natural ,and organic ingredients to create ,our fantastic smelling soap. Some of the ingredient we used were   Pure goats milk shea butter lemon grinds  glycrine food clouring scents glitter and much much more  If you would like to come down to our gala day it, is on the saturday the 25th of november. HI, bloggers for the last couple of weeks we have been working on a book review.  Before we could get underway of starting our book review we had to chose , a book that our reading teacher picked out for us. After choosing our  book we had to do 25 minutes of reading so then we could have a part of our book review to work on. Then we had to  get our chrome books and start working on our book review.  The book that I chose was Hero, It was about a dog named Leo who dreamed of becoming a hero, until one day when  a dog named Jack Pepper ran away, Leo was also a day dreamer. Leo was daydreaming  about what happened to Jack pepper and , then remembered what he wanted to become A hero  so he went and tried to save Jack pepper. Hi, bloggers this week we have been doing  a journey from the bottom of the south island to the top of the north island. We had to pretend or think that we were adults because kids are not allowed to fly by our self. On the way to the top of the north island we stopped at different place like Invercargill,Wellington and Christchurch. Each day we had a set budget of 500$. At the end of the 2 day we had to Add all the cost of how much money we spent those days .  Something I found hard was adding the gas total all up and the traveling time because it had alot of hard mathematical problems in solving, the whole thing . Hi, Bloggers yesterday in cybersmart we did a map on were we get blog comments from,and how we connect with them. What I found hard was when we had to find four ,of  other clusters from the tui mai tui atu area. It was a bit confusing a the start,but then got easier. We had 9 question which were all different, one of them were find where our family come from.  I enjoyed doing this task because it was cool looking at different places in the world or in new zealand. I liked that part when we had to go onto room seven's blog and find people from around the world that have visited our class blog. Blog you later

Hi, Bloggers in Cybersmart we have been learning how to create a strong comment . We used 5 headings to create this comment, Greeting, positive, thoughtful, helpful and sign off . We found a blog post that we liked by using the ako-hiko website. Then we used the headings to create a strong comment. When we finished we had to screen satisfy us reading it step by step. 

Hi, Blogger this week we had  Cross Country. We had games that we got to play in the hall and outside, while we waited for our race. My favorite part of Cross Country day was when we got to play the blindfold game. In the blindfold game we had to wear a blindfold and our partner took us around a course to find a bean bag without standing on the splats. On our Cross Country run we had to run a far distance, twice ! If we got a score card we had to go to a table and we had to give our card and name. The place I came was 6th which I was really proud of  because I tried my best. Blog you later😎

Hi, Bloggers. Today we had a crazy science show in the hall. In our science show we got to learn some cool facts and tricks about science. We learnt lots of cool things about science. My favourite part was when he put a bubble over Mrs Shinn's head because she looked like a colourful person. We found out that the world's thinnest object that can be seen by a human's eye is a bubble. One thing I learnt was different names of chemicals like a polymer. Richard made a rocket by using a film canister, water and a pill chemical. The funny part about the show was when Richard put bubbles over his head.   If I could ask Richard a question I would ask him, where did you learn how to do all of these tricks? Richard had an experiment that he asked for a volunteer. Abby from room  { HAURAKI}  got chosen to be the volunteer. She held  the leaf blower while Richard  threw a map ball (a beach ball with a map on it) in the air . I wonder how he made the ...

Hi,Bloggers for the last couple of weeks we have been creating our Pepeha.  During the process of creating our Pepeha we had to search up tukutuku panels for our outside design. In Pepeha creating we started to ask our parents and family questions like where is my river  or  mountain. Before creating our Pepeha we had sessions to teach us some corrections of the maori pronunciation. We had a session on pronouncing sisters and brothers, older and younger in maori. The word for  older sister is tuakana and the word for older brother is tuungane. Hi , Bloggers  for the last couple of weeks we have been  creating a  slide about information of what we have done and what we have learned on our  4 day ski trip to Mt RUAPEHU. On our ski trip we learnt different skills when using a snowboard.  One of the parts is called the nose which is the top of the snowboard . On our way to MT RUAPEHU we stopped at  different places like , E.G , Hamilton gardens , Taupo swimming  center . We stayed at the national park hotel  for our four days ski trip. I enjoyed our ski trip because we got to connect with other students that i don't always connect with at school, and also learnt new skills that i will remember for ever . A failure for me going too fast on my snowboard and getting snow in my pants and undies which was cold.  My goal on camp was to try and try again to never give up and give everything 100%.  Which my teacher was very very proud that i did. HI, bloggers  yesterday we did taekwondo.  We had to divide  into teams of five to get warmed up . To get warmed up we had a relay race . There were 5 teams that were versing each other . We had different kinds of activities like { sit ups, crunches, press up position .   We had a competition at the end to test how high we can kick and how high we can jump to kick the pad . we had a practice first for about 10 minutes to get the confidence to start . At the end there were two boys versing each other max and hame . Max came first and hame came second.  I liked yesterday's session because we had the opportunity to test how high we can kick . Overall from the couple of weeks we have been doing taekwondo I feel like im getting stronger . It was hard for me to get higher then the two champions even  then a year 4 . Hi bloggers , yesterday  we created a template on how we can create a strong helpful comment . First we  created a padlet to give us some ideas on what to say . Then we copied the template and filled it  in with some ideas . We used 4 different headstarters which were Positive Helpful Thoughtful and Question At the end we had to ask a question, like what shape they used ? . Hi blogger, a couple of termes ago we created a tent using a different variety of materials . The materials we used where  Tooth picks  modelling clay /colour/ white              and thick white cardboard  We got to talk to a buddy about what shapes we could make a stable tent out of . Sometimes the tent kept falling but we tried our hardest make the tent stable. We tried different shapes of making it stick and join togthere . I found moulding the clay hard and trying to make it  stable because I didn't use enough clay at the start. I found trying different shapes to make a tent was a bit of a mess. I had fun moulding the clay into different sizes of balls fun and cool i liked trying my hardest to and challenging myself to design a stable tent .\ I found out that trying different shapes was easier then trying the same design again and  again . HI bloggers, a couple of weeks after the holidays we have been waiting for the  new classrooms to open  . Finally we have opened our new classrooms with a big ceremony , one of the members from parliament . Michael wood came to visit as and cut the ribbon which was running in between to of the poles from the deck when the ribbon was finally cut the building was finally open we were aloud into have our first view . After our early morning tea what go to start working inside and meet other people and the way to learn . WE have four different sections in TE WAKA-  AKO  which is yellow were people can work in a quit space  green which is were people can work with a buddies and blue were you can work in a group  but last but not lease  orange were is going to be a kitchen and art station . Hi bloggers. So in class for the last 8 and  9 weeks we have benig doing some creative writing. What we had to do was, our teacher Mr Ross set as some story starter for each day and we had to fill it out . The one i chose was  week 8 creative writing thursday .
